Affiliate Disclosure

We believe readers deserve to know how a website may earn money, and how that might affect what they read.

Our current status

An affiliate link is a special tracking link provided by a company to a publisher that has joined its affiliate program. When a reader clicks the link and completes a qualifying action — usually a purchase — the company may pay the publisher a commission.

How a publisher may earn a commission

Commission terms are set by each program. They may be a one-time payment or recurring, and they depend on the program's rules about what counts as a qualifying purchase.

Does it cost you extra?

Typically, no — the price is usually the same whether or not you use an affiliate link. Where that's not the case for a specific program, we'll say so.

If Harlixa joins an affiliate program

If Harlixa is approved for an affiliate program in the future, this page will list that program, and the following language will apply:

Pages containing affiliate links will also display a disclosure near the first relevant link or recommendation — not only in the footer, and never only in a pop-up.

Why transparent disclosure matters

A financial incentive can create a conflict of interest. Disclosing it lets you weigh our content accordingly. This approach follows the spirit of the FTC's Endorsement Guides (opens in a new tab).

How editorial conclusions are formed

Our conclusions follow our Review Methodology and Editorial Policy. Every review discusses limitations and alternatives. A commission — if one ever exists — would not mean every recommendation is sponsored or that we endorse a product unconditionally.

Evaluate software based on your needs

You never need to click a vendor link to use our guides. The best tool for you depends on your goals, budget, and existing systems. Use our software selection guide to compare options on your own terms.
